Course Description
This course is designed around advanced topics and exploration of the software. This course does not cover basic operations. If you are not actively using the software, then you need to complete the Allegro® AMS Simulator course.
In the Allegro AMS Simulator Advanced Analysis course, you learn about library and design analysis issues for the advanced user. You configure and run advanced analyses, including sensitivity, Monte Carlo, stress, sensitivity, and worst case. You do learn some basic tool operations as a part of this course, but this is not the primary focus. It is suggested that if you are not actively using this tool, you need to complete the Allegro AMS Simulator course before taking this one.
Learning Objectives
After completing this course, you will be able to:
- Use Advanced Analysis part libraries and their associated model libraries
- Configure and run sensitivity, Monte Carlo, Optimizer, and Smoke (stress) analyses
- Use local and global tolerances
- Use measurements to evaluate the circuits response
- Analyze a circuit for sensitivity/worst-case analysis
- Run Monte Carlo analysis using standard distributions
- Run optimization to meet performance goals
- Run stress analysis using Smoke
