Course Description
This course introduces the mainstream board design flow using Allegro System Design Authoring (SDA). You create both flat and hierarchical designs, set routing rules, and place and route the PCB.
Learning Objectives
After completing this course, you will be able to:
- Create an SDA project
- Create flat and hierarchical SDA designs
- Copy SDA schematic pages
- Import DE-HDL and SDA blocks
- Generate a BOM report
- Edit properties and define routing rules
- Export the design to PCB Editor for placement and routing
