Difference between Doc Assistant and Cadence Support

Doc Assistant is an embedded help platform that allows customers with a valid product license to access product documentation stored on the cloud. This is in addition to the minimal documentation shipped with the software image.

Cadence Support (support.cadence.com) allows customers to raise cases and access premium content (such as RAKs, articles) that is available to those who have bought maintenance or support plans. It generally serves as a second line of defense when customers face issues while using Cadence tools.

Doc Assistant is available to any user who has a valid Cadence product. The user does not need a COS account to access Doc Assistant.
