The Cadence Giving Foundation is committed to bringing innovation, technical expertise, and philanthropy together to make a lasting, positive impact in our world. Our Foundation helps support critical needs in our global communities in areas such as diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), climate and sustainability, and access to STEM education.

Giving back to the communities where we live and work is a core part of our history and culture. We are committed to providing our employees with opportunities to do meaningful work that makes a global impact and transforms lives. Cadence employees can leverage their paid Volunteer Time Off and Matching Gifts to help further the mission of our foundation, nonprofit partners, and causes they are passionate about.

We recognize that education and social justice provide a bridge for underrepresented groups to enter the tech field and have equal opportunities. We direct our charitable giving efforts towards increasing access and opportunity for underrepresented and underserved communities, promoting science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) among youth, and protecting our planet to create a more sustainable world.

Underserved Students

Since 2018, Cadence employees have volunteered more than 7,200 hours with Team4Tech, to provide technology education to more than 5,200 students and teachers in underserved countries.

DEI Education

Cadence is a proud sponsor of Girls Who Code alumni and summer immersion programs that help prepare girls and young women for careers in computer science. In addition, we support SMASH, Technovation, Black Girls Code, Latinas in Tech, Vets in Tech, and Out in Tech.

Season of Giving

Cadence employees around the world come together at the end of the year to participate in our largest annual volunteer campaign called Season of Giving. Over 1,000 Cadence employees across 15 different countries volunteer with local charities to support causes that are meaningful to them and their local communities.

Cadence is committed to providing industry-leading technology and programs to students, educators, researchers and future innovations. Cadence partners with over 1,000 universities, provided over 150 products valued at $23M, and offers more than 5,000 online training courses. We also provide scholarships to Black, Latinx, and Women students pursuing careers in STEM.
