Cadence virtual hardware in-the-loop environment for ECU design-1

Prof. Diana Göhringer, Ruhr University Bochum and Robert Schweiger, Director Technology Solutions Automotive at Cadence, present a joint development project of an Adaptive Cruise Control ECU at the Embedded World 2014.
The goal is to use virtual prototypes of ECUs as "real" hardware for hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test setups. Therefore a virtual ECU is connected with the HIL system which is in our example a real car simulator to test the software control algorithms.
