Automotive In-Cabin Driver Monitoring System Powered by Cadence Tensilica Vision DSP

In this video, an automotive in-cabin driver monitoring system (DMS) developed by PathPartner is demonstrated. The DMS is running on a customer's platform that features the Tensilica Vision P6 DSP. It shows how the system is able to detect the driver and various landmarks on the driver's face. It further goes on to track the driver's face movements, notifying a distraction if the driver is not looking forward, and the 3D orientation of the face opens the door to more accurate driver monitoring.
