Face Detection Demo using IVP/MIPI: An Overview

In this presentation at embedded world 2015 in Nuremburg, Cadence Lead Design Engineer Alan Douglas talks through the main points of a demo showing the use of Cadence IP to implement face detection with very low power and footprint requirements. The demo makes use of the Cadence Xtensa IVP-EP processor and Cadence MIPI CSI/DSI interfaces to capture video, detect faces at full frame rate, and display on a monitor.
