Black Students in Technology Scholarship Recipients Share Their Experiences

Hear from three of our eight Black Students in Technology Scholarship recipients to learn about their experiences, dreams, and visions for the future. In addition to our third annual Women in Technology Scholarship, Cadence is excited to offer new Diversity in Technology Scholarships focused on Black and Latinx students. We awarded scholarships to 31 outstanding students—a record number! We have selected 15 recipients for our Cadence Women in Technology Scholarship, and eight recipients each for our new Black Students in Technology Scholarship and Latinx Students in Technology Scholarship. To be considered for the scholarships, recipients must be pursuing a technology-related degree, such as computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or electronic engineering. In addition, all recipients have demonstrated a passion for technology, maintained a strong academic record, exemplified leadership, and were highly recommended by their professors and advisors. We believe that these young leaders will make a huge impact on the future of technology.
