Course Description
Microwave Office® is Cadence®'s design platform for RF and Microwave engineers who need to design, simulate, and verify RF systems. Typical applications include the design of amplifiers, filters, and antennas. The software includes circuit simulation capabilities critical for RF design, for example, harmonic balance analysis. Electromagnetic (EM) simulation engines are incorporated into the platform, especially AXIEM, for planar EM simulation and Clarity™, for full 3D EM simulations.
In this course, load-pull for PA design, Circuit & Layout design, Analysis of 1&2 Tone through linear and nonlinear analysis, and various analysis techniques such as impedance matching optimization method through optimization are introduced.
