For today's data center, designing electronics to analyze the deluge of data presents challenges in throughput, performance, and energy. Optimizing performance while minimizing electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radiation is a key challenge. Limitations of EMI and radiation signoff tools mean the whole system can't be analyzed in full system simulations. The only option is to plan time in the project schedule to build a prototype and incur the large expense to rent an anechoic chamber to test. Cadence Clarity 3D Solver and Clarity 3D Transient Solver perform EMI and radiation compliance analysis simulation with 3D analysis accuracy to reduce signoff compliance testing costs while shortening project schedules. The Clarity solvers provide large-scale simulations using massively distributed computing to scale capacity and performance by up to 10x to handle the full system analysis, reducing dependence on anechoic chambers, especially in the early phase of product design, analysis, optimization, and fabrication.
